Data Protection

General

Visiting this website involves the processing of personal data. Although, in principle, no information about personal data is required when simply calling up the page, since certain functions of the website and possibly associated services may give rise to a processing operation, all visitors should be informed at this point about the body responsible for the processing, the purpose and scope of the processing and, of course, about their rights as data subjects. All data processing operations on this website are carried out in accordance with the legal provisions of data protection law, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Consent for processing is therefore obtained from the data subjects if there is no legal basis for the individual processing operation.

Responsible body

Responsible person in terms of the DSGVO and the BDSG is:

Julian Braun

Cookies

This website uses so-called cookies (session cookies and permanent cookies). Cookies are text files generated by a server in which information about the user accessing the site is stored and saved on the user's device. Session cookies are only stored for the duration of the visit to the website, whereas permanent cookies are stored permanently on the user's device. When the website is accessed again, the server can identify the user via the permanent cookies and evaluate the information stored in this way. The data collected through the use of cookies can be merged with the data collected through the creation of user profiles.

If the user does not agree to the use of cookies, he or she has the option of preventing the setting of cookies via browser settings and also deleting cookies that have already been set. However, it is then not guaranteed that the website will be displayed in full and all functions can be used.

The purpose of the use of cookies is to simplify the use of the website and, in parts, to make it possible at all. In addition, the quality of the website and the content is to be improved through the evaluation of the data collected by means of cookies.

Statistics, representation, cooperation with authorities

In order to compile access statistics, for the correct display of content and for the best possible cooperation with law enforcement authorities in the event of a cyber attack, the following data is collected when this website is visited:

- IP address
- URL of the page accessed
- Referer (the previous page from which the page accessed was referred to)
- Pages accessed via this website
- Date and time of access
- Duration of access
- Information about the Internet service provider, the operating system used and the browser used

This data collected when visiting the website is stored separately from other data that may be entered in the course of using the website and is only used internally for the purposes stated and is not passed on to third parties unless there is a legal obligation to do so. It is not possible to assign this data to a specific person.

Google Analytics

The Google Analytics tool (with anonymisation function) developed by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA (hereinafter: Google) is integrated on this website. Google Analytics is an analysis service that collects, collates and evaluates data from website visitors. Among other things, it records from which website the visitors came to this website (so-called referrers), which pages or sub-pages are accessed, from which location and how often and for how long the pages are visited and which operating system and browser were used. Google Analytics is mainly used to optimise the website and to analyse visitor data for the effectiveness of advertising measures.

When using Google Analytics, use is made of the anonymisation function. This means that the visitor's IP address is shortened and anonymised by Google if the page is accessed from a member state of the European Union or from another state party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

The purpose of using Google Analytics is to analyse visitors and their behaviour on the website. Google uses the data collected in this way to provide the person using Google Analytics with the information (i.e. data) obtained as a result in the form of a report and, if necessary, to provide other services related to the use of the website.

Google Analytics uses cookies. How cookies work is explained under the relevant heading within this statement. The use of cookies enables Google to analyse the use of the website. Thus, where Google Analytics and cookies are used, the visit to individual pages can be recorded and transmitted to Google.

This enables Google to collect visitor data, such as the IP address and the other data mentioned above, and to track where the pages were accessed from and which pages were visited in detail. Among other things, the data collected in this way is used to calculate commissions for Google advertising measures.

The cookie is used to store personal information, such as the IP address, the time of access, the location from which access is made and the frequency of visits to this website. Each time the website is visited, this personal data is transmitted to Google and thus to the United States of America, where it is stored. Google may pass on this personal data collected by the procedure described to third parties.

The collection of data by means of cookies can be prevented by a corresponding setting in the browser or by the use of other corresponding software, as can the permanent storage (setting) of cookies on the visitor's system. A cookie already set by Google can be deleted at any time by making the appropriate setting in the browser or by using other appropriate software.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. To do so, a browser add-on, which can be downloaded from https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, must be installed. The add-on informs Google that data and information on website visits may not be transmitted via Google Analytics. Google considers the installation of the browser add-on as an objection to the data collection and processing. If the browser add-on is deleted, formatted or reinstalled on the visitor's system, it may be necessary to reinstall the browser add-on or change the settings in the corresponding software in order to deactivate the Google Analytics functions. If the browser add-on is uninstalled or deactivated, data collection and processing will take place again. It is then possible to reinstall or reactivate the browser add-on.

Further information and the current data protection regulations of Google can be found at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/ and at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html. Information on Google Analytics is available at https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/analytics/.

Google AdWords

We use the Google AdWords tool developed by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA (hereinafter: Google). Google AdWords is an Internet advertising service that can be used to place advertisements in Google's search results and elsewhere in Google's advertising network. The ads are displayed to the user by Google services if he or she uses certain search terms and we have previously defined these as search terms for the display of the respective advertising (so-called keywords). The algorithm used by Google ensures that the ads are only displayed for certain keywords and when certain websites are visited.

The purpose of Google AdWords is, on the one hand, to promote our website by displaying relevant advertisements on third-party websites and in Google search results and, on the other hand, to display third-party advertisements on our website.

Google AdWords places a so-called conversion cookie with visitors to our website (for cookies, see above). A conversion cookie remains valid for thirty days, but is not used to identify the visitor. The conversion cookie can, however, be used to identify whether certain sub-pages of our website have been called up, whether certain actions have been taken by visitors who have reached our website via an AdWords ad (i.e. an order has been placed in an online shop, for example).

The data collected via conversion cookies is used by Google to create access statistics for our website. These statistics enable us to track which visitors have come to us via AdWords ads and thus to assess their impact and, if necessary, optimise it for the future. We do not receive any information from Google to identify visitors. The personal data collected by the conversion cookie, e.g. the websites visited, is stored, i.e. each time our website is visited, such data, including the IP address of the internet connection used by the visitor, is collected, transmitted to Google and stored by Google in the United States of America. If necessary, Google forwards this data to third parties.

It is possible to object to the collection and processing by Google of the data generated by Google AdWords. To do this, a corresponding setting must be made in the browser used at www.google.de/settings/ads. Further information and the current data protection regulations of Google can be found at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/ and at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html. Information on Google AdWords is available at https://adwords.google.com.

Contact by e-mail

It is possible to transmit personal data to the responsible persons by e-mail. You determine the scope and type of the data transmitted in this way yourself through the content of the e-mail. It is pointed out here that sending an e-mail is considered consent to data processing. The data may be used for pre-contractual measures and for the fulfilment of the contract.

Integration of social media links

The website links to the respective pages of the social media services Facebook and Instagram and thus to the respective profile of Julian Braun. This does not involve the integration of social media plugins and icons. It is therefore possible to access the respective profiles directly via the website. However, this only takes place when you click on the links. If you do not wish to do this, do not click on the links and access the profiles separately via the social media services' own pages.

Storage period and deletion

The data processed on this website will be deleted after the intended purpose of the processing has been achieved, but not before the expiry of a statutory retention period. Insofar as the data is required for the conclusion of a contract, the fulfilment of the contract and/or the termination of the contract, it will be stored for the time necessary for this in each case and deleted after the contractual relationship has ended, insofar as there are no contractual and/or legal obligations to store the data.

Legal basis

The legal basis for the processing of data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) DSGVO if the data is processed after the consent of the data subject. As a rule, however, data processing will be necessary for the performance of a contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) DSGVO) or for the protection of legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO). The legitimate interest of the processing here is the provision and maintenance of the online offer for the information of (potential) customers and (potential) business partners as well as other parties interested in the internet presence. In exceptional cases, the legal basis is also another reason listed in Art. 6 (1) c) - e) DSGVO.

Your rights

According to the GDPR and the BDSG, those affected by data processing have a right to information (Art. 15 GDPR) about the data collected from them, can request confirmation about the data processing and a copy of the data as well as a right to complain to the competent supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). You have a right to rectification (Art. 16 DSGVO), which may also consist in the completion of the data. You have a right to erasure ("being forgotten") (Art. Art. 17 DSGVO) and a right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 DSGVO) as well as a right to data portability (Art. 20 DSGVO). Data subjects have a right to object (Art. 21 GDPR) to future processing of data and the restrictions on automated decisions in individual cases, including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR) apply.

Objection or revocation

If you have given your consent to the processing of your data, you may revoke this consent at any time. Such revocation will affect the permissibility of the processing of your personal data after you have expressed it to Julian Braun. Insofar as Julian Brun bases the processing of your personal data on the balance of interests, you may object to the processing. This is the case if the processing is not necessary, in particular, for the performance of a contract with you, which is shown in each case in the following description of the functions. When exercising such an objection, you will be asked to explain the reasons why the personal data should not be processed. In the event of your justified objection, the situation will be examined and either the data processing will be discontinued or adjusted, or the compelling legitimate grounds on the basis of which the processing is continued will be demonstrated. You can object to the processing of your personal data for the purposes of advertising and data analysis at any time. You can inform Julian Braun of your objection to advertising by using the contact details provided in the imprint.

Data security

Encryption technologies according to the current average state of the art are used within the website visit, which are supported by your browser. You can see whether an individual page of the website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser. In addition, appropriate technical and organizational security measures are used to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or against unauthorized access by third parties. The security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
